Luke Sweeney is heading up the coast from San Francisco to celebrate the release of his fifth studio album, Novel Tea (out August 29 via Future Gods & Dandy Boy Records), and will be performing his first Portland show since 2023 at Turn! Turn! Turn!

We’re currently looking for local bands to join the bill. If your group can draw a crowd and you’re open to collaborating for a memorable night of music, we’d love to hear from you. The scene is always shifting, and Luke is excited to discover new sounds and creative energy.

About Luke Sweeney:
With four critically acclaimed albums and an EP to his name, Luke Sweeney has evolved from a free-spirited troubadour into a thoughtful storyteller. Known for his genre-defying style, he blends humor, introspection, and sonic experimentation with influences spanning power pop, jazz, and global sounds. His 2022 album RISHI was praised by the SF Chronicle as “a mesmerizing blend of future jazz and George Harrison’s Indian influences, celebrating the healing power of music.”

His latest album Novel Tea continues this evolution—an introspective yet playful journey into the artist’s ever-expanding musical landscape.
